Great piece, Dylan. You said it all, and said it well. Simple things are often the hardest things to do well, and to do distinctly. Hemingway did the simple things extraordinarily well.

That is absolutely spot on, (God I wish I had written it.)

My belief is that the rot started with Mary Robinson someone in my opinion who polished her personal brand at the expense of Ireland. Nick Clegg pulled the same stunt in the UK. They are both examples of this new global corporate elite- who under the DEI and faux feminism are really only interested in one thing - themselves.

Haughey for all his faults - knew exactly what he was - Robinson appears to think that she is a secular saint. Yvette Cooper is her UK equivalent. Plastic people I call them….
